Your post reminded me I had kinda the same problem with a couple machines,
but could not see my win2k box, would not show workgroup machines. I then
tried to give share permissions on the XP box to a HD in Windows Explorer,
but before I could, the workgroup machines showed up in the Network window.
I have no idea why, but mine seems to be working now. Sorry not much help.
It just might be a Microsoft problem. Good luck.
