I like the Truelife, however as Christopher says, it's reflective. I
have been in meetings in which I asked to move to another seat, and in
more informal meetings I closed the drapes behind me. Even at home,
if I have a reading light on when I am in my recliner, I change the
angle of the screen. I haven't used it outdoors but I would guess
that it's not that usable outdoors.
As far as SXGA+ (isn't it SWXGA+ ?) I prefer the 14" laptop size but
if I were getting a 15", I would definitely go with the "S"
resolution. It depends on how you use the computer and how good your
eyes are. If you can get to a Dell kiosk, you would probably be able
to compare them.
