new mobo

hi,

i just installed a new intel dg43nb mobo and installing the drivers got
'failed' in the install list for the audio driver. i've tried many
times to install just this driver with no success.

any help would be much appreciated...

What OS are you using? Have you tried the one from the
Website or only the one that came on the CD? The Website's
version is newer.

thanks for your reply.. i forgot to mention that i'm running XP pro with
sp3. today i uninstalled and re-installed the audio driver
and have a successful install BUT i don't get any sound. when the driver
install failed i at least had sound for the screen actions, now nothing.
