Hello!
I've just replaced the mobo on one of my PC's with a DFI, C64-TC, 370
mobo.
In doing so, I left off ALL components EXCEPT for :
PIII-933mhz CPU with heat sink and fan, one stick of memory in slot
one, and the Nvidia 64 pro graphics AGP . NOTHING ELSE .
I wired the front case wires OK, because the Power Switch works., the
PS fan and the PCU fan both spin; a memory light comes on as it
should, `a mobo light comes on as it should. But I can't get the Bios
signal to the monitor.
The monitor is on, waiting for the signal. Cables are OK because I
simply removed my new DELL and popped in this one with the new mobo,
using the same cables.I pulled the AGP card and replaced it with a
spare.
I tried the stick of SDRAM in both slots.
I made all the jumper settings as required by the manual.
My only suspicion is that the memory may not be compatible; Crucial
memory sticks don't show specs on the sticks and trying to get it from
Crucial via serial number is worse than pulling teeth! It took me
twenty minutes to transcribe all the serial numbers into the email
request for help, and I got a message.."Server is down, try again!!! "
I'm just hoping I could get some ideas and feedback on this problem of
mine. Maybe I'm missing somehing and it's staring me in the face
Thanks so much,
Mike
