I recently put together a new computer. When I went to install XP Pro it
installed about 2/3 of the way then it rebooted. It restarts setup gets to
about the some place it reboots again. It gets to where it is registering
components when it reboots. The system I put together is a 2.5 Celeron
processor, ECS L4VXA2 motherboard, with 512mb of DDR2700, with a 128mb 3D
radeon 7500 video card and a 350w power supply. I just can't figure out what
is going wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

here is a combo like mine http://shop4.outpost.com/product/3881647

Slow everything down a notch and try again - cmos. Is that 2 memory
cards? - then remove one of them.

In trying to install XP_Pro onto a ECS755A, it never would finish the
installation. It blue-screened at random times during the installation.

I grabbed a win98 boot floppy from another computer, downloaded the
latest ECS flash for the ECS755A and flashed the motherboard.

No troubles since except the 755A is advertised as DDR400 and will NOT
run DDR400. ECS has since changed their webpage reflecting the failure,
came out with a new 755A2 model, and will not answer my inquiries.

Good luck!
