Hi Gang !
Got the PB 810 board the other day. Works great, came equipped with an Intel
233MHz MMX CPU. Tested out fine.
However, when I viewed the picture, and got excited over what I thought were
cache modules, DIMM slots, a VR,and USB ( more on that later ) when I saw
the board in person I realized that I had forgotten that the first Intel®
82437VX Triton chipset had TWO small chipsets on the motherboard that look
exactly like cache chips in a poor photo. I should have known this. There
were two blank spaces on the board in the photo where cache SHOULD have
been.
And then I can't find my K6-200. It's in a motherboard somewhere........
I'm not going to install a K6-233 inferno. Probably blow the board.
Strangely, the board actually has TWO USB ports, but one is hidden behind
the metal backing plate. Very weird. Looks fully functional if the wire
traces in the motherboard are to be believed.
The search begins again...................
