NO PROGRAMS WORKING ON ACER LAPTOP!!!!!

Hey guys,

i was wondering if u can help me on this. On my Acer laptop, when i
try to load any programs at all, it says the program path, and
"This application has failed to start because the application
configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this
problem." This happens to every program on my laptop. Please if
anybody has any suggestions on how to fix this, i would really
appreciate it.

I would guess the Registry is the problem.
I assume your running windows xp.
Go to start and help and search for "registry repair. Click on Windows
Registry. Read it all and click on related Topics. Go to Registry restore.
Read it all and decide if this is what you want to do. This is just a guess.
Might work.

it sounds to me like you may have a corrupted operating system, you
may need to reinstall the OS.
