None of the USB port work on my K7VMP2 MB. The only card pligged in is an
AGP video card. No front USB headers installed and a fresh install of XP Any
thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the bios for this board, but did you check the
bios settings to make sure that USB is enabled? Maybe try to reset the
bios using the jumper on the board. You can also try flashing to a
different bios. If you don't have the most current bios, update it.
If you have the latest bios, try an older one. Good luck....

No, When windows xp installed it found the via drivers. I've tried via 4 in
1 and via usb driver. You think the drivers on the CD are different from the
via site?

Thanks

Well if you enabled USB in the BIOS and those are the correct drivers, and
there are no jumpers on the motherboard dis-abling the USB......I don't
know. <:-)
And you made sure that the USB device you plugged into the port worked?

I would definitely try the drivers that came with the MB though. ;-)

good luck,
dave
