Well, yes, in a more general sense. If Peter Norton were dead, he would be
turning over in his grave. I think he is still alive and well, counting his
money from the use of his good name plastered onto inferior products. Someone
ought to interview him and ask him what he thinks... Ben Myers

I agree. It's ashame to see a good name/software ruined, at least in
the technical sense. I suppose it's more popular now than ever
because of marketing but too often it's been done in by technically
better software.

Wow! Thanks all. I was not expecting so many replies nor so many anti Norton
comments. Not one post has a good thing to say about Norton let alone Norton
360.

On my own PCs my NIS 2006 ran out last week and I have not bothered to renew
the subscription mostly because I am just fed up with my PCs being so darn
slow. Also, downloaded a big update for NIS 2006 on my laptop a few weeks
ago and the next time I booted the PC it just would not boot, could not do
any kind of repair and had to rebuild the PC from scratch.

I will look into the suggested products.
