Hi,
I have a HP3000 and a HP Laserjet 8000 on LDev 167.
The LJ8000 has just died the death.

I have an Epson IR5000 that I would like to use in place of the Laserjet and
would like to know how to set up the NPConfig and NPSetup for that machine.

Has anyone any examples, or pointers to manuals or links ... ?

Thanks in advance.

Epson IR5000 or Canon IR5000? Maybe Epson rebadges Canon high-end printers for
sale in the UK?

The good news is that much of the ImageRunner 5000 is software compatible with
the LJ8000, if the IR5000 has PostScript (I can't remember if PS is an option or
built-in). The differences would come in the selection of printer trays,
duplexing, other optional features. As a short term solution, you might simply
configure the IR5000 with the same IP address as the LJ8000 had, assuming that
the LJ8000 was a network printer. You may be a little limited in what the
IR5000 can do, but this is better than no printing at all... Ben Myers
