Nvidia 9800GX2 on Intel DG965WH?

Has anyone tried the Nvidia 9800GX2 on Intel DG965WH and had it work?
I believe the PCIe x16 1.0 slot on the motherboard should be compatible with the
2.0 video card but I don't want to blow the motherboard in case there are any
"gotchas"
