Hello,

Does Nvidia have special drivers for Asus A8N32-SLI,

Or is the 32x feature a asus only feature requiring special asus drivers ?

Bye,
Skybuck.

I'll try the Nvidia Nforce 4 Intel 16x drivers.

These seem to be for AMD as well.. the 16x versus 32x issue kinda confusing

Bye,
Skybuck.

Ok,

I installed the nforce drivers.

The nvidia nforce network controller is now detected and the local network
is now working after configuring the ip address for the card.. took a few
seconds to configure also check "show in notification" area to display it...

I also said "no" to the nvidia firewall because it's buggy (?!)

I also said "yes" to special ide driver... hopefully I don't regret that

The installed drivers do NOT show up in the add/remove programs as "nvidia
nforce drivers".

It just says: "nvidia drivers"

Which was already present.. maybe a left over from the removal...

Also it seems windows does not have nvidia nforce network controller drivers
onboard ?!

Bye,
Skybuck.

If you choose to uninstall the "nvidia drivers" it then gives you a
subscreen with the option to uninstall all, or just the nforce or
geforce or firewall drivers etc.

Learn to read **** face.

It wasn't working fine, the network chip didn't work.

It didn't work because I deinstalled all nvidia drivers, and windows
apperently doesn't have a default driver.

I did that because the nvidia firewall was buggy.

Now I have reinstalled some but not all drivers.

In other words this time I did not install the firewall ****

Bye,
Skybuck.
