nx9105 keboard

In replacing the inverter on my NX9105 laptop screen I've come unstuck on
re-fitting the keyboard ribbon cable. The plastic part of the connector came
away completely when I removed the cable and has since been lost. Whatever I
do, I cannot get the ribbon cable to make a good connection.

Does anyone have experience with this and can make suggestions.

Sorted it - the ribbon cable needs to be held against the inside TOP surface
of the connector block, so a couple of thicknesses of card underneath it
does the job.
