The Optiplex 760 needs a BIOS revision.

Until they come up with version A01, I would stay away.

Seems the Intel Q43/ICH10 has some 'kinks' not yet worked out.

Skipping/choppy video/audio from optical media, hard disk, or online
streaming (ie: youtube).

I'm sending the two I just bought back in favor of a couple of Opti 360's
because I have clients who can't wait for Dell and Intel to get up off their
arses.

On the bright side, other than that issue it was a kick-arse system.

i have an opti 760 with an add-on 256mb video card and it seems fine to
me. have not seen any issues at all, seems like a very nice system.

Very impressive systems. It might just be an oddity of this particular
CPU/board/RAM/drives configuration.

I had two. Both did the same thing. Even did a clean wipe on the first one
to eliminate software. Once I realized it was a pretty deep issue, I
un-boxed the second system and tried the audio/video on first boot.

Same symptom.
