Hi all,
I'm planning to build my new PC, usually i manage to do it without any
problem,
but this time it will be more costly and i don't want to make any mistake.
So i would like to put in :
Proc : Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
mobo : Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R (not P35C-DS3R)
Graphic : NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT - 512 Mo
PSU : Seasonic S12 600 watts
Western Digital Caviar SE16 500Go Serial ATA II (WD5000AAKS)
do you think it correct ?

of course i will add good memory, nice case, discret fans ...
this will be for XP Pro

thanks vm for you advices
J-M

I built one a while back around the Gigagyte GA-P35-DS4. Very nice mobo.

Added the Q6600, GeForce 8600 with 256 megs (I'm not a gamer), 8 gigs of
GSkill RAM. Two 500 gig harddrives in a one TB RAID (0). Tucked it into
an Antec Designer case. Vista Ultimate 64 flies on this thing.

Yes, I think we sometimes forget that this is
an international forum, and English may even be
a 3rd or 4th language for many posters. Native
English speakers are just lucky in that regard.

In other words, in intentionally mangled Japanese I said that I am
very unskilled at speaking Japanese. To get to the level of fluency
that the OP has is indeed quite an accomplishment. My bad for my
level of bad manners.

Sounds pretty good but since you will be using the Intel G35 chipset I
would go for the new Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo (3G) over the older
E6600 (2.4G). Would be quicker and run cooler.
Even with XP I would go the extra an get 2G of ram.
