Thanks, Ben, we will still be playing and guessing for awhile.
It may be significant that now the other printer, legacy Epson FX-880
dox matrix on LPT1, is not working for us either, right now. Maybe we
need a REAL expert! (I used to think I could do this stuff. I'm not
even sure, anymore, how to copy a DOS file to printer in DOS.)
