Hi,
I have P4VXASD2 v1.1a motherboard with P4 CPU. Operating system - Windows 2000 Professional.
Before I was using SDRAM (256MB) but because of applications demanding more RAM, I decided to go with 1GB DDR. I bought 1GB PC3200 DDR-400 Crucial Technology RAM. On the motherboard, I changed the jumper settings from J1 open to J1 Short. I also changed the jumber setting of J2A/B/C/D and J3A/B/C/D from open to short.
When I put the DDR ram and take out the SDRAM, It boots properly but the windows does not load. It keeps giving me blue screen.
"Cannot read registry....Hive error" (not the exact error message).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Minesh
