P5B Deluxe and Soundcard

I am building a computer system with a P5B Deluxe and E6600 processor.
In this system I will be installing a Soundblaster Audigy 2. Which PCI
slot will best be suited for this sound card?

I'd start with it as far from video card as possible -if it works there.

read the manual it will show you the shared slots

I got the same setup and I installed my Audigy 2 card in the second PCI slot
down and it works great. Don't forget to download the Vista drivers if your
using that OS.

The second PCI slot was the one I have been thinking about as it is
the least shared per the Manual.

Yes I will be installing Vista. I have only seen Beta Audigy drivers.
Are these ok to install?

Yes, Version 212, they are beta but they worked great for me.
