You have to remember that there was a P5P800, before there was
a P5P800 SE. The original board had a 5th PCI slot, which is
apparently missing from the P5P800 SE. On the original board,
PCI Slot 1 and PCI Slot 5 shared the same interrupt line.
Now that slot 5 is gone, PCI Slot 1 is no longer shared. So the
entry in the P5P800 SE manual is not quite correct, as it should
read "Used" rather than "Shared" for slot 1.
PCI 2 shares with Onboard LAN.
PCI 3 shares with Onboard USB2.
PCI 4 does not share.
So it looks like PCI Slot 1 and Slot 4 are the good ones.
And in the best of times, the table in the manual is not
always correct. Sometimes the true wiring is revealed, when
someone with a machine full of PCI cards, dumps their interrupt
table in a USENET posting. So it is quite normal to find
contradictory information via your own testing. "Vic"'s posting
suggests Onboard Audio is actually connected to "B", and
it looks like his Promise Ultra133 was in slot 1, based on the
order of assignment in Windows.
