Has anyone had success installing more than 64MB ram in an STE board?
No matter what I do I can not get the system to recognize memory over
64MB.

I’m using 4 identical 72-pin EDO SIMMs of 32MB each. Bank 0 seems
fine because when just 2 SIMMs are installed (bank 0) the system
ackowledges the 64MB ram. Adding the other 2 SIMMs in banks 1 or in
bank 2 results in the system still only acknowleding 64MB ram. No
errors are ever shown during the POST. The problem is not the SIMMs
themselves as I’ve already tried each SIMM in bank 0 and I always end
up with 64MB.

CMOS settings are set to optimal.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.
