How do I get rid of using a password,I don't how this happen but all of
sudden at boot up I am being asked for a password,and also when I go in to
setup ,I cant make changes unless I use a password.I don't need or want a
password. Thanks

You're talking about a BIOS password, right? If it's a desktop, open up the
chassis and either change the CMOS Password jumper to the designated setting or
remove the C2032 battery for, say, 5 minutes.

If it's a notebook, contact Dell for help and be prepared to provide proof of
ownership... Ben Myers

Both bios,and log in to XP.

To remove the XP password, go to the following URL, download either the floppy
or the CD image (both bootable), make up a floppy or CD following the
instructions VERY closely, then remove the password.

For the BIOS password, see my original response... Ben Myers
