I would like to know if anyone is running this program on there iMac,
I am currently in the holding pattern of waiting for Apple to ship my
new iMac too me. I saw this working flawlessly at that apple store,
but I have read where some people are having problems with this and not
being able to open files
i.e. Jpg's and others.

TIA

Photoshop won't open jpegs? At our house, we're still using CS1, pending
Adobe getting off their greedy butts and producing an Intel binary
version. I mean a Mac Intel binary version -- I guess I could run it in
Winders. Anyway, I've seen CS2 in use on Intel Power Macs, and it looks
okay, even in Rosetta.

Photoshop CS2 works fine on both Intel and PowerPC Macs.

Yes, there are people who have copies of Photoshop that will not open
files. This happens if you install Photoshop, and then do an Archive and
Install of Mac OS X. The Archive and Install removes a critical file
that Photoshop needs. The problem is easy to fix--just re-install
Photoshop, or copy the missing file out of the "Previous System" folder.
This is documented on Adobe's tech support Web site, among other places.
