Post Security Update Oddities

Incredibly, my husband's G4 iBook is showing a very major improvement in
both audio and video. This happened immediately post security update
1.1. I honestly can't recall *any* time his iBook had such good color
or volume. If, say, the audio output was 6 before, it is now a ten.
Totally baffling.

On a very slight downside, I had to redo the printer selections on my
daughter's Intel iMac. I seemed to have forgotten the printers. No
need to reinstall, however. Hardly worth noting. I only mention this
because I've seen some remarks about missing drivers or the inability to
print recently.

I installed the latest HP drivers for my printer/scanner/copier/FAX
yesterday, and wound up having to redo the printer selection as well.
But now the unit scans again under Leopard.
