Ok it kind of figures. I have never had a prob. w/this printer in the yrs I
owned it. I went away for a week and powered it off.
Looks like that was a mistake. I turn it back on and it will not set up. Get
a msg in the window to remove & check the cartridge on the right (black). I
did this a few times. I see nothng wrong. I even tried cleaning off the
contacts.

Any ideas? TIA

Ink might have dried up in the cartridge and blocked the inkjet
so try:

a)Blowing into the cartridge vent hole if it has one; or
b) A new cartridge.
