Hi,

My Spec is

P4 2.8e 90nm
Abit IS7v1.2
Corsair XMS DDR500 2x512 pair
GeForce FX5600
3 WD IDE HDs
1 IBM IDE HD
DVDrw
CDrw
Promise Ultra IDE controller

I am running at 3.3 GHz with FSB=236
CPU core V = 1.41xx
DRAM V = 2.60
3-8-3-3
CPU Temperature = idel 46c some load 51c

It's strange that my DDR never alllow FSB over 243.
It does not post with long beep.
I have used DRAM v=2.8 max, still no luck.

I tested FSB=250 with CPURAM = 5:4, it works even though unstable.

What's wrong with my DDR?
DDR500 means FSB=250 and over, doesn't it?

Can somebody help me please?

Try setteng the CAS to 3 in your BIOS. But,It might not be your ram.It could be
the cpu.Raise the CPU voltage too. Does your motherboard support PCI,AGP bus
locking? If not, then one of your PCI devices(HD,vid card.raid card) might not
like higher bus speeds.

Thank you for the response.
My CAS is already 3 and PCI and AGP are locked as 33 and 66.
I alresdy tested CPU goes up to 250, but not DRAM.

I wonder my motherboard (Abit IS7) or Intel865PE doe not support DRAM
speed over 243.

Well,if those didn't work. Try fiddling with the other DRAM settings. And also
see if there is a BIOS update for your mobo. That's all I can think of at the
mo'.
