can i close ARP support

i've already establish ppp connection.

change uipopt.h? which option?

When you establish a ppp connection, you know the addresses on both sides of
your link (you and your peer). You only send packets to that peer, so in
theory, you wouldn't need arp anymore (which resolves other addresses for
you.) If you are sending packets through that peer to another box,
something is going to have to resolve that other address. That something
could be you by arping out that ultimate destination address or you could
rely on your peer to do that. Dunno what the actual "protocol" is for that
(my ppp only goes between two boxes.)

anyhow, I wanted to mention that sometimes it depends on your stack. Some
implementation may need arp in order to even have a routing table. The
stack may need to look into an arp cache/table regardless of whether it's a
ppp connection or not. Moral of the story? Test all your connectivity
options after you remove it.
