Because the "Battery Low" message is a phantom message which seems to happen a lot with these boards, i kept resetting everything thinking that my daughter must have pressed a few key combinations during boot-up, and didn't blame the battery - But it has happened so often now, (About 5 times in the past 11 months) that it must be!
I also know that; sometimes the battery needs a twirl to make it contact well with the board, and so i did that a few months ago, and it lasted the longest time without the error re-ocurring.
I've just noticed it has a 2025 battery installed, and not the CR2032 which i thought ALL K7S5A's used?
Anyway, i might be quick enough to replace the battery without losing my newly saved settings, but just in case i'm not, could someone point me toward a GOOD bios saving/restore program (THAT THEY THEMSELVES HAVE USED).

Use the CR2032 batteries if supported. You have time between changing them. In fact, if I remember correctly, if you remove the battery and let it sit for about 10-20 seconds, it will clear the cmos, at least on older motherboards. Generally, though, you should only have to replace the battery every 3-5 years. As far as a bios saving and restore program, I think you would have to have a motherboard that supports that feature. Check with the manufacturer of the motherboard for information on that.
