Only maybe if you turn off all the graphics options in the game. The
R9200 lack such things as DirectX 9 support, vertex shader version 2
etc etc etc. If you are wishing to buy a graphics card the ATI's
9600PRO or 9600XT would be better suited. Nvidia's FX5200 is better
than the R9200 as it atleast supports directX 9. Better choices would
be the FX5600/ULTRA and FX5700.

the spec's of many different chipsets from ATI, Nvidia and SiS can be
found here.

your looking for DirectX 9 support, Vertex Shader Version 2, Pixel
Shader Version 2 and a Core Speed of atleast 300MHz or greater.

hope this helps

I have the same Radeon video card and it performs pretty good for some
games, including new ones. Also mines just a 64 MB.
-Final Fantasy 11-Performed pretty good running it at low
resolution(640*480), performed a bit slower running at high
resolution(1024*768) but looked great. Also reasons for the slowness
is its an online RPG so depending on how many people are logged on to
the game server you're on it varies in speed.

XIII(Thirteen)- This game ran smoothly at 1024*768. But even on high
end graphics cards it doesnt look all that amazing anyway(which if you
haven't seen or played the game, they used a kind of new 3D concept,
by actually making the comic look like a comic book theme.

Real Myst-Now this game is an old one (2000), but its an amazing
looking game. If you're familiar with the Myst series of games
created by the company Cyan. Anyway the original Myst(created in
1993, back in the Windows 3.1 era) was pretty much clicking through 3D
rendered pictures and watching some videos(I still think its one of
the greatest games ever made). Anyway the game Real Myst is a remake
of the original except instead of clicking through pictures you move
around in real time and the video is in-game this time. They made
this game look amazing especially with the weather effects. And this
runs perfectly on the Radeon 9200SE.

Well if you have any questions about game performance email me at
. If you're wondering how a game will perform on
that Radeon video card before you buy it tell me and I'll try to
download a demo of it and run it. Well, good luck with your video
card(sorry I made this post so long).

A reviewer at http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/far-cry/506075p3.html had
system like this.

Intel P4 3.0 Ghz CPU; 1GB RAM; GeForce 5700 / GeForce 5950 / ATI
Radeon 9800 Pro video cards; Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro; Logitech
MX 300 Optical mouse

They said the 5700 was a bit sluggish at 800x600. Though there is a
patch that seemed to help.

I still don't think the ATI 9200 will be a good choice. It also
appears as you may need a fairly new computer to run Farcry as well

A little research on your own will go a long way - both anandtech.com
and tomshardware.com can give you very thorough benchmarks on these
kinds of cards. As an example, try:

Good Luck!

Just what was your motivation for needing to buy a new graphics card?
In one of your post's you said that Farcry ran fine on your machine at
800x600 and the graphics options set to low\off. If you think it runs
fine and looks alright I really see no need to buy a new card.

You could wait a little until ATI and NVIDIA release their next
generation chips that will drive down the cost of today's mainstream
cards.

Out of the three I would pick the FX5200(Has better memory
bandwidth/better performance).

hope this helps
