RAM Problems

Hi,

I currently have problems with Corsaire Value DDR RAM (4x512 Mo PC3200
CAS 2.5 on a Asus P4P800 motherboard). The problem is that each of the
RAM, tested individually, is ok; but when tested together, a night long
test shows 5 or 6 errors.

The test was performed in either case by the RAM tester included in the
LNX-BBC distribution.

Does someone have any idea of why this happens, or of what I should
check to know what is really the problem here ? I can not even
know which of the RAM causes errors - if the problem really comes from
one of them.

Sorry to say, but you are probably getting memory timing errors from using
two sticks of inexpensive RAM. You can either use one stick or upgrade to
better quality.
