Raptor versus Raid0

I have a P5B Deluxe MB with a E6600 processor and 2 Gig of 4-4-4-12 Memory.
Currently have a Raid0 configuration using 2 WD 250 Gig 7200 RPM SATA2
drives. I have the urge to buy a WD 150 Gig Raptor SATA1 drive. All of the
drives have a 16MB buffer. If I install Vista on the Raptor drive will I
feel a difference compared to the Raid setup? I really didn't notice much
of a speed difference when I set up the Raid0 configuration versus non-raid
on the 250 Gig drives.

I would doubt it

Looks like Tom agrees. By the way "old man" you were right several months
ago when you told me I did not need Raid drivers for a new Vista install.
Vista recognized the Raid0 array and never looked back.

If you use Acronis True Image 10, you will find that it no longer recognises
your disk.
Speed wise, not so much.

I use that Raptor and feel it is a great trade-off for RAID 0.
