RDRAM problems

I currently have 2 - 128 MB of RAM installed on my computer. They are
both PC800-40. I bought 2 - 256 MB of RAM to install on my computer.
They are also PC800-40. When I install the chips, I get an error
saying to take out the newly installed chips and only use PC800-40 RAM
chips for memory upgrades. I've checked online for compatiability
problems with my motherboard and there is none. Can anyone help me
out?

Just a thought, would upgrading my bios solve the problem?

try reversing the memory in slots
