I got the same error with a PL300 mini tower (6892N2U). I thought it might
be the CMOS battery, but it looks like you tried that. Did you figure it
out?

if you have intrusion detection turned on, it probably means that the case
has been opened.

I have seen this message several times, usually just after Bios has posted. Ends with Keyboard has been locked, turn power off and on...

Problem ended up being bad capacitors on the motherboard. If you do a visual inspection, the capacitors should not look bloated or swollen. If so, you've found your problem. If you do your research, replacements are fairly cheap and if you know basic soldering, you can replace them yourself (make sure you get the polarity right!). If you don't feel comfortable soldering, or not sure what you are doing, find an electronics shop and have them replace the capacitors for you.
