Take care: DIMMs with Micro chips have been seen to die in this board.....

It's in the manual: slot 1 & 3 for 2 dimms.

Dr. Ratt & Miloman - thank you for your input.

Miloman - what do u mean --- "die in this board" ?

They just stop working -- that's it?

what do u think of what Dr. Ratt said about there being a Micron version of
Dimm for this board that is supposed to run fine?

Any thoughts?

I myself use corsair sticks with Micron chips which are still working on my
S2460 (for 1,5 year now).
So, beats me. Be warned that there is no Micron-chip stick on the Tyan
recommended memory page.......
