I've just bought a 7NNXP with 1GB Kingston 400 DDR and a 2800+ Barton.

The only CPU FSB options in BIOS are 100 / 133 / 166 / 200. Any Idea
why I can't set it to 333 as this is what the CPU supports? (and is
shown in the 7NNXP manual.

What FSB speeds do you get?

TIA,

JP.

For information on how to set up your system go to the following link. Read
it well and it should answer most of your questions.

PS you are not seeing the hidden options in the bios. When going into the
bios screen. Once the main bios screen is up, hit the cntl + F1 key to open
up your options, like ram timings, fsb, and multiplier options. Plus many
more.

I have a similar prob after upgrading from Athlon 1333 to XP2500+ with the
GA7VAX. I too have Crucial PC3200 (1 x 512). The machine shuts down in cpu
intensive apps such as 3dMark2003, Halo & Prime95. Runs OK though when cpu
is clocked at 266 fsb. I am wondering if the memory is an issue & am doing
some swapping with a friend on Wednesday. I'll let you know if I discover
anything.
