The main drive is also a little slower than many other desktops (which
might affect things that CS2 needs to cache to disk) and the video
adaptor is a little underpowered (of course, this is less of an issue
for 2D processes like CS2).
This should not affect things like CS2 too much, so your Universal
Binary question is probably the bottle-neck.
From my glance at the specs for the mini, you should expect performance
equivalent to a decent laptop.
If you are a heavy graphics person, you definitely want as much RAM as
you can stick in there. Too bad there is no FW-800, even though a nice
fast FW-400 external drive to work with images might not be a bad idea,
anyway.
As long as one recognizes the limitations, the mini is not a bad
purchase for some people. I might get one for work.
