Why does this sound familiar? Win98SE was the main reason I upgraded to
WinXP. I was getting BSODs nearly every day, with the occasional freeze,
both in the program and while booting. One time I couldn't boot into 98 at
all and had to reinstall it (those recovery CDs are crap, BTW), and even
then it wasn't the same as when it was new (still getting blue screens).
Bought XP Home in late March/03 and haven't looked back. No freezes, no
problems.....S.
