My apologies for not being more clear - I was running out of the house when
I last posted to you.
I am not sure what the related plist files are, but you can find out pretty
easily. Open ~/Library/Preferences (the tilde represents your user folder).
Then view it as a list... and sort by date with the newest at top. Leave
that folder open and modify the sound settings. Whatever "bubbles" to the
top is the plist that I am referring to - though some others might also come
to the top as well - look at the names and it should be pretty obvious which
are related.
As far as YASU, that stands for "Yet Another System Utility". It makes
doing a number of pretty standard maintenance routines very easy. You can
use it for free or you can pay the author the $3.50 he asks for - the only
difference in the program is that if you pay the $3.50 you eliminate a
splash screen. Well worth it ... if you use it on a regular basis please
pay the small amount (I am not in any way associated with the author, it's
just the right thing to do).
Hope that helps...
