avi is a "catchall" format. most video formats can be called .avi and
will work as whatever they are (exception: quick time MOV, RealPlayer
RM, and prolly WMV too) some filesharing softwares might have a copy of
Adobe Premiere floating about their system, Premiere does an excellent
job at rendering and converting video (that is, after all, what it was
meant to do, it is a video editor) as long as you have the video codecs
on your syste, Premiere should be able to render perfect MPEG2 video
files, which is the format DVD's use, this should facilitate burning of
said DVD's. you can prolly use Roxio ECDC 6 or whatever the latest ver
of Nero is to create the DVD's

==WARNING==
I advise that you download aforementioned software with caution. Kazaa,
the most popular filesharing service, comes bundled with spyware. thus
i cannot recommend use of this software, use limewire instead. also be
careful downloading premiere, remove it from your shared folder when
you are done, those damn feds can and will bust you for redistribution
if you leave it in your shared folder. one of my friends got a huge
fine for having pirated video, so be careful.
