Upgrade Nero if you are not using the latest, also check for the latest
firmware on your writer. As others have suggested it could well be your OS,
I see you have installed an ATI 9000 if it uses a separate power supply see
it is not spurred from the writer. You have your writer as master and your
Dvd/cd as slave not on the same ide channel I hope. disconnect the Dvd /cd
and see if that helps.
