Hey all,
Found this thread regarding the new BIOS for this board and thought
this might be a good place to ask a question. I've just installed a
new Retail D865GBFL board with a 2.4C P4 and 512MB Crucial DDR400 in
Dual Channel Mode. It had the P10 BIOS installed, so I flashed it with
the just released P13.
When booting it gets to where it detects the processor, memory, hard
drive and two CDRW drives and then it halts and says press F4 to
continue. I do and it boots XP Pro SP1 with no problems and everything
works as advertised.
My question is, is it supposed to halt after detecting all the
hardware before it loads XP?? I've never seen a board do that before.
I've looked at all the settings in the BIOS and don't see anything
unusual. Any ideas here?? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
