Jim, I'm facing a problem, I just found out this might work. Sounds
like something very similar to you.

I finally got my (Dell) desktop, has a DVD Burner. Good timing,
because my TiVo is just filling up now. I need to empty some space.

My TiVo is in the bedroom about 35 feet from my Desktop. I'm finding
that it's not so easy to buy long a/v cables. Do I build my own
cables? Do I take several smaller cables and couple them together?
Maybe this wireless is a way to go.

Does your Terk Leapfrog work well? Do you think it would be good
enough for recording from TiVo through the Terk to the Desktop?

Thanks, for any suggestions,
DougB

I thought I saw some long AV cables somewhere, but cannot recall where.
What I did one time (with video) is made a composite video cable out of a
length of coaxial, and it worked excellent. The easiest thing I could think
of though is just get a few (dozen) standard cables, and get some lil
connector thingies to join them (radioshit has them I know).

Hope this helps!
