When you say "just got," does that mean you just bought the DVD burner? I
ask because I have a Formac digital to audio converter that requires a
firmware upgrade (have to ship it back to the company) before it will work
with OS X. My thinking here is that Formac devices may not make the
transition from OS 9 to X very well, although we may be talking
apples/oranges, with regard to DVD burner/AD converter.
The trouble with the Formac web site is that you actually have to register
your product before it will give you any sort of idea if there are software
or hardware updates appropriate for your product. Hence, even though I just
visited that site looking for new software for you, or even just
information that might help in solving your problem, I couldn't get
anywhere because you need to actually have the product's serial number etc.
in your hand before you can search the knowledge base. As far as I can tell.

I don't know. I'd go to
www.formac.com, register the DVD unit, then work
with the technical support given there. I'd suspect you need a newer
version of software of some sort.
