Well... if you have a lot of e-mail and special settings for your programs,
it works ok, but YMMV. It migrates e-mail accounts, but *not* the
passwords... other than that, it seems accurate enough, but of course, it's
a bit difficult to asess when you use it with unknown machines... but I
haven't have any complaints, though.... I've made about say, fifty
migrations in the last year-and-a-half; and all went *well* (meaning no
complaints from customers, mind you).
It basically copies everything there is in the (name user/s) directories
root directories not present at OS installation time including registry
entries, even the bad ones. But it's a time saver if you don't wanna lose
the IE history, or have more than one user per machine with different
settings.
I prefer to do it by hand, but of course, I know what I'm doing, I'm an old
fart and I couldn't care less about the IE history or keep track of
read/unread NG messages.
