The XC1000 cable has been working perfectly for me for awhile. Also,
for whatever reason, the keyboard is cooler now. It's a permanent
solution as far as I'm concerned.

The video and audio wires were messy, so I cut them off of my cable.
It now consists of one cable that's less than two feet long.

I have an HP pavilion DV4225nr and I am having power problems. The
laptop will shut off without notice especially when the battery is
installed when I remove the battery the computer will run for the most
part as long as I don't move it from a flat level surface. . If I turn
it off for the night and turn it back on I will have to plug and
unplug the power adaptor numerous times until it will finally turn
on. Is this similiar to the power jack problems I have been reading
about and will the HP All-in-One Media Cable xc1000 Cable work on an
HP pavilion DV4000 series computer.

Just informative for all who have had Jack Issues on the ZX/ZV/R3K
laptops and the twin models.. May be some light at the end of the
tunnel for all of you. I'll be back to post more on the issue as it
