If you're referring to the DVD that ships with the Dell I don't think
you'll even need the product key but to be honest I haven't done a Vista
install on a Dell so I'm not sure.
If it actually asks for key, then use the one on the machine but if you
actually bought a Vista DVD, I gotta ask...why did you do that? Dell
ships them for free with the machines.
BTW, if that's the case, use the product key that came with the disk.
