Indeed he did state that, as anyone who would have correctly read the
original post would have seen. I'm assuming that since he hasn't
responded he may have worked through his issues on his own.

Yes, I finally managed to get it sorted (kids permitting). Flashed
with Honey X bios, which allowed me to increment the fsb/ram speeds
back up to 133/133. Now says Athlon 2000+ at boot, so all ok. Just
boards being temperamental I guess.
