Big subject, many opinions. I use a Palm and I miss some of the things a
Pocket PC can do (pocket streets, etc.). However, strangely enough, the Palm
organizer with their synch conduits seem to work better with Outlook than
Microsoft stuff does!! For example, there is no really good way to synch
Journal in Outlook on Pocket PC. In Palm, you have PocketJournal which is
really good. Take a look at pros-cons to both systems. You can get into a
Palm cheap (79.00 for the Zire at the moment) so if you just wanted to see
if a PDA is for you, that would be a cheap trial. I think if Pocket PC came
up with a good Journal thing, I might switch, but until then, I'm sticking
with the Palm I already have.
