I have had no problems installing my two Photosmart printers on my two
home networks. However, I can't find any way to install the software on
the "remote" PCs without physically connecting the printers to them.
You reach a point during the installation where it asks you to plug in
the USB cable, and there is no way to do anything but abort the
installation at that point.

Adding the printer over the network presents no problems at all. It is
correctly recognized and the correct drivers are all then installed. I
do not have a printserver or "Jet Direct" whatever that is.
