Raid1 is not a replacement for data backups
You need to find out what they are doing with their PC that causes so many
problems
Fujitsu PC's are generally quite good with a sound reputation
Under the circumstances given a raid or any sort of system backup will be a
waste of time.
There are any number of data backup applications that will backup data to
wherever you choose
