Well, it's /not/ a webcam. You would have to find out if it can output
those 30 frames per second continuously via USB, and not simply record
a few seconds of video at a time to it CF card -- the latter behaviour
being typical of such cameras.

Of course there are USB webcam drivers for the Mac. See
<http://www.ioxperts.com>. But I'm quite sure that they won't work with
your Canon (One /n/ -- Cannon makes towels.) because it isn't a webcam.
